The panicle hydrangea is a popular plant blooming in the summer with distinctive cone-shaped white flower panicles, which turn pink later on.
The new selection Hydrangea paniculata Pinky-Winky is without any doubt a distinctive novelty in the assortment.
Pinky-Winky blooms in the early summer with white flowers. In August, the flowers start to show a soft-pink blush and the red glow climbs up from the base to the top. Grown in a sunny position, the flowers will be painted in a magnificent dark pink red colour every autumn.
As is the case for other panicle hydrangea's, this selection is almost free of diseases.
